CBT Kochkor Gulbara

Location and atmosphere
Gulbara and her daughter in law are experts in fruticulture and passionately take care of their fruit garden. While her son is actively involved in the local CBT office as a driver, Gulbara takes care of the Guest House and enjoys inviting tourists into her home. Her granddaughter is visiting the local school and can be seen roaming around the fruit trees in the summer school break.
Facillities
The accommodation offers space for up to 12 people in 5 rooms. Washing facilities are found inside. A common room as well as a big dining room are also inside of the cozy guest house.
Surroundings and activities
Kochkor is the transit point towards one of the pearls of Kyrgyzstan, the summer pasture of shepherds at Son Kul Lake (100km). Another option, for the adventurous people is Kol-Ukok Lake, just two hours north of Kochkor. While staying in Kochkor, there are several opportunities to participate in felt workshops and cooking classes with one of the local masters.
